Movie
Time: No Country For Old Men Reviewed
You
just know at some point either Mezco or
NECA will pick this one up. So AFC had to
check out the movie. Paramount's No Country
For Old Men is Texas Chainsaw Massacre meets
Scarface!
What a wild ride in this
one Figure Fans! The story is great, the
brutality is almost artistic in a sense
and the actors are at the top of their game.
No County for Old Men features
Josh Brolin who appears at first to be the
luckiest guy in the world as he stumbles
on a drug deal gone bad only to find a suitcase
full of cash... 2 million bucks to be precise!
Only those 2 million bucks turn out to be
2 million reasons to run and hide!
Javier Bardem plays the
no none sense, emotionless killing machine
in search of the loot! He stops at nothing
to track down his cash. And he pulls no
punches (or air guns) to get what he wants.
The guy is nuts and literally makes you
squirm a bit as you watch the movie.
Everyone's favorite Man
In Black, Tommy Lee Jones attempts to save
Mr. Brolin's character from sure death,
and at the same time bring our killer to
justice. You'll have to check out the movie
to see exactly how it plays out though!
SPOILER ALERT******************
Don't read on if you want to ruin part of
the end....
Although No Country is
worth watching and deserved the awards it
won, the one big drawback is the end of
the movie. It just.... ENDS. No real resolution
here. Perhaps a sequel in the works? Who
knows. They could certainly continue it
on.
END SPOILER ALERT**********************
All in all the movie is
a winner. The folks here at AFC give it
a recommendation so you're familiar when
one of our favorite Toy Companies picks
up the license!
