JoeCon Exclusive: Rowdy Roddy Piper!
   Piper?? A G.I. Joe figure? Yup, you read that right. Well, he's actually a Cobra/Destro Iron Grenadier, but that's just being picky. Anyway, The Rowdy one will make his G.I. Joe 3 3/4" debut at the big JoeCon convention which takes place in Atlanta, Georgia September 27 - 30, 2007 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel. Piper will be limited to just 1,000 figures and will come packaged on the G.I. Joe 25th Anniversary card. If you're not going to the convention, any remaining figures will be offered on the G.I. 12-Inch Bobby Orr To Land at Wal-Mart Canada

 Joe Fans, get your questions armed and ready! Hasbro has invited AFC members and readers to participate in round 2 of their ongoing G.I. Joe Collector Question and Answer program. Please submit your questions to AFC via email (info@actionfigurecollectors.com). One question per person if you can (we are limited to 5 questions in total to send to Hasbro). All questions will be reviewed by the AFC staff and the best ones will be sent to Hasbro. Questions are due into AFC no later than Sunday August 12th 2007 at 11:59pm. Toynami Is Back From Comic-Con!
   
From Toynami: We're back from Comic-Con, the biggest pop-culture event of the year, and we'd like to say thanks to all of our fans who came out to pick up our newest exclusives, or just to say "hey"! Our convention exclusives flew off the shelves last weekend at Comic-Com, whether attendees were picking up Dr. Zoidberg, Ichigo, a NARUTO statue, some Skelanimals or all of the above! We also had plenty of upcoming products to show off, such as the full set of upcoming FUTURAMA action figures. The first assortment, featuring Fry and Zoidberg, should be arriving in stores within a matter of weeks! Fans were reacting positively to the announcement of our partnership with Reebok, with each pair of their new Voltron sneakers coming with one of the Lions needed to create a fully articulated transformable Voltron! Look for these in stores this holiday season. Skelanimals were present in full force, with all kinds of new products making their debut, from vinyl and plush to backpacks and slippers! Robotech fans also got some great news, with the unveiling of the long-awaited Beta Fighter, scheduled for release in the spring, and the Masterpiece Collection Cyclones!
