Celebration IV Sandtrooper Priority Pre-Order
  The Star Wars celebration begins early as Sideshow posts their first priority pre-order of the Celebration IV exclusives! Starting tomorrow (3/29/07) at 10am until 12pm (pacific time), Sideshow Newsletter members who will be attending Celebration IV can order the Medicom Toy RAH Sandtrooper for pick-up at the show. Then on Friday (3/30/07), non-attending newsletter members can order the RAH Sandtrooper starting at 10am until 12pm (pacific time). NECA Blog Update: New Product & Kratos Issue
 Cruise on over to MySpace for NECA's blog a Randy reveals more tidbits and also addresses an issue with their new Kratos figure. NECA is currently in pursuit of the license to product figures based on Rob Zombie's version of Halloween. Randy gives us the Harry Potter 2 lineup which consists of: Snape, Death Eater(s), Dumbledore, and a new take on Harry with added articulation. Pirates fans can look forward to a POTC: AWE series 2 featuring: the new Swann, a variation of the new Jack Sparrow, Tia Dalma, and one more new figure. The Darkness Comes Alive This Summer!
    
From Top Cow: From all appearances 2007 is shaping up to be a monumental year for The Darkness, the decade old property from Top Cow Productions. The year will see the release of several trade collections, a series of Level books, a major video game release from 2K Games & Starbreeze, a pivotal role in the upcoming First Born summer event, and a new ongoing series at the end of the year penned by Phil Hester. To add to the rapidly building excitement, Top Cow has released information about an upcoming The Darkness PolyStone Statue. The Darkness PolyStone Statue will feature title character, Jackie Estacado standing atop a mountainous base of Darklings. The statue was carefully carved with painstaking detail by master sculptor Dave Cortes and will measure an impressive 15 inches tall from base to top. The piece was hand painted by collectibles painter, Eddie Wires, with particular attention paid to ensure the mood and tone of the comic series and upcoming video game is conveyed in the 3-D sculpture. Limited to only 1500 pieces worldwide and carrying a suggested retail price of $199.99 this gorgeous piece ships immediately available for display straight out of the box. "This statue was a blast to work on", said sculptor Dave Cortes, "The character has a number of really cool dynamics that made for a unique sculpt. First Look: Sideshow's 12 inch Princess Leia
  We know how much you guys like to get an early look at new figures and apparently Sideshow does too! Released today in their production blog are images of the upcoming 12 inch Princess Leia from Sideshow's Star Wars line. The figure itself will go on sale through priority pre-order on Friday March 23rd at 10am pacific time and will continue until noon before the pre-order is available for the general public. If you're not signed up for Sideshow's Priority Pre-order service yet and want to get your hands on the Sideshow exclusive version of Leia (the exclusives always sell out FAST!) then head over to Sideshow's site to sign on before the cut off time. If you miss out though, there will be a regular edition of Leia offered after the exclusive edition sells out. So not all is lost. Gentle Giant: Products Shipping & Edition Sizes
    
The latest is in from Gentle Giant as they announce several new edition sizes and their latest product which will hit retailers this month. In the Star Wars department, be on the lookout for GG's Han Solo on Tauntaun statue. For Harry Potter, GG will ship their Hagrid mini bust and Mad Eye Moody mini bust this month. Jose Reyes Makes His Sports Picks Debut
