Transformers Becomes Year's Top Selling DVD!
 From Paramount: The blockbuster hit from DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures, TRANSFORMERS, is the year’s top-selling week one DVD with North American sales reaching 8.3 million units since the title’s debut on October 16, it was announced today by Paramount Home Entertainment. The biggest original film of the year from director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg, in association with Hasbro, Inc. (NYSE:HAS), is also the best-selling DVD day one for the year with over 4.5 million units sold on Tuesday. Additionally, the smash hit has exploded into the high definition market, selling over 100,000 HD DVDs its first day of release, rocketing past previous releases to become the best-selling day one high definition title on either format since their inceptions. TRANSFORMERS has sold over 190,000 HD DVDs in its first week making it the fastest and best-selling week one release on either high definition format as well as the best selling HD DVD ever. Sideshow Friday: Marvel, Terminator, Mezco and 300
    
For those of you who have waited for a giant sized Sideshow Friday after the past few little guys, this is your week! Sideshow has updated us with a ton of new previews and some pre-orders that may leave you waiting. Let's talk previews first. Sideshow's got lots of prop replica helmets for us, first up is Iron Man and Magneto from Museum Replicas Limited. Iron Man helmet is from the original costume in both a silver and gold finish. Magneto's helmet is as it appears in the X-Men movies. 300 fans, Sideshow has your ticket as well. Also from Museum Replicas Limited we have a Spartan Warrior helmet and King Leonidas' helmet. These are all full size, wearable helmets. Going back to the Marvel world, Sideshow third diorama in the X-Men vs. Sentinel series is on it's way. Finally in previews, the last of the T2 mini-busts is revealed to be a battle damaged T-800. Speaking of Terminator and moving along to pre-orders, the Hot Toys 12 inch Movie Masterpiece Endoskeleton is now up for ordering... and this one isn't really a pre-order as it will ship to you as soon as you place your order!
